Elder son Norman and his wife came up for the weekend. We played a seven game DBA mini-campaign using our 1/72 scale Bronze Age collection yesterday...more to follow, but it was good to have a face to face game.
Whoa! Is that one of the new Kickstarter Wyrmwood tables? How do you like it? I backed it, but I'm officially in the July delivery tier. Which size did you get?
Using the wide angle lens has created some interesting distortions in that shot. It is a Wyrmwood table, but it is the now-discontinued Sojourn smaller table they introduced to complement the Prophecy. Its game well is 3’ by 5’, so a little smaller than the Medium modular. I like it very much, with only one caveat; being an early model, the topper is a single piece, and is heavy enough to require two people to lift it carefully off the table. It also functions as our dining room table, so games don’t get set up casually in the well.
I post a little about my ongoing projects, recent games, how I got to where I am, and where I'm going, as time away from the workbench, and a somewhat busy life, permits. I'll try to keep cooking and ballroom dance down to a minimum, but they do seem to take up a lot of time.
This is my really short, no explanation included, list of projects: 54mm Medieval Mayhem (skirmish), 40mm French and Indian War, 40mm NQSYW, 40mm Renaissance, 25mm Dark Ages (Saxons and Vikings), 25mm Historical Arthurian, 25mm Fantasy, 1/72 scale Bronze Age, 1/72 scale 2nd Punic War, 1/72 scale fantasy (Portable Fantasy Campaign), 6mm Ancients (travel DBA), 6mm Fantasy (travel HotT), 6mm Spanish Civil War.
Good lord, look at the hair! I thought for a brief second you'd written 7 player rather than 7 game. Its coming!
ReplyDeleteYes, that is my quarantine hair at its maximum. :)
