While the move has been keeping me busy, I had some time at the painting table this weekend. Although I have a few 40mm NQSYW dragoons on the table, what I actually picked up and finished was this Reaper wizard. I'm going to need a running start by the time the Bones double Vampire package arrives...

On the Move
I have been slow in updating the blog for a variety of reasons, of which the most important is that I am relocating. Clearing a house in which one has lived for 18 years turns out to be rather time-consuming.
The miniatures are in place, as seen above, and a work desk has been laid out (though not yet used).
I hope to be back in action within a few weeks ...

One last miniature for 2012
I finished off one last figure from my work queue yesterday:
He's a Reaper Chronoscope line Socrates, one of several figures I picked up late in the summer after buying into the Bones Kickstarter.
That puts my final painting total for the year at 3 54mm figures (medieval peasants), 60 40mm figures (2 mounted; all NQSYW), 17 28mm figures (mostly Reaper fantasy), and a unit of 24 1/72 scale Bronze Age Libyans. As recent years have gone, that's not too bad, but it doesn't compare to the late 90s when I was doing 500 or more.
