War Games is a good choice, too. I came to it as an adult, so it doesn’t have quite the pull of Morschauser (which I first encountered in a friend’s library at the age of ~12) for me. A bit like the desert island discs / books idea. <br /><br />I would grab three books, the original branch library copies of my childhood which I bought in a library sale - Donald Featherstone's War Games, the Blandford colour Warriors and Weapons of Ancient Times and Preben Kannik's Military Uniforms of the World.
